The Week in Review-
Wow! Last week was a busy Week. Started off with our final tune-up scrimmages versus Pflugerville on Tuesday. Both teams performed well and it was a beautiful day for soccer.
Then a rare occurrence happened. For the first time that I can remember, we had actual games on New Year's Day. The Varsity Lady Rangers traveled down to Smithson Valley for their season opening tournament. This was a late add for the Lady Rangers as we had an unforeseen cancellation to our Dallas trip, but as things turned out this was a great weekend for the Lady Rangers.
On Game Day 1 the Lady Rangers defeated Pflugerville Connally 9-0.
On Day 2 the Lady Rangers took on the top ranked 5A team in the State and hosts, Smithson Valley Rangers. Our Lady Rangers after a bit of slow start played some great competitive soccer. The Lady Rangers fell 3-1 but took a lot of positives from the game.
Day 3 Saw the Lady Rangers win the 3rd place game in an 8-0 Victory over Victoria-West.
It was a lot of travel, but also a lot of successful soccer played. It was a good start to the season for the Lady Rangers.

Wednesday - Ranger - Red - 2:30 - 4:30 pm
Thursday - Grass - Black - 2:30 - 4:30 pm
Friday - Home vs Westlake
JV 5:30 pm - All Black
V 7:15 pm - All Black

Parents - Team Dinner Sign ups
We will begin a weekly team Dinner hosted for the Girls beginning next week. These are traditionally hosted one night a week once we begin district play.
