The Week in Review
This past week saw a little break in the action as the Lady Rangers had a Bye on Tuesday before taking on the Lady Mavs of McNeil on Friday.
The JV Game was tightly contested and ended in a 1-1 draw. Although the Lady Rangers had much of the ball and some wonderful passing in the second half, we just couldn't find the back of the net. It was a very solid performance from our JV Lady Rangers.
In the Varsity match it was clear this was a rivalry game from the start. The Lady Rangers were up 1-0 at the the half with a goal from Ava Gragg. After a few adjustments the Lady Rangers played very well in the second half with 2 more goals scored by, Kinsley and Tylah. The Freshmen all played well in a game in which 3 points were greatly needed.

TEACHER Appreciation Night is Tuesday, March 10th
This is one of the Best Night's of the year, and Teacher Participation on this night is one of the most highly attended amongst all of the programs at Vista Ridge.
We would like to increase participation even more this year and really honor and make our teachers feel valued.
A Message from the Booster Club:
Teacher Appreciation Night
The Booster Club would like to add some extra touches to Teacher Appreciation Night this year to say THANK YOU to the Vista Ridge teachers for all of their time, patience, and support of our athletes.
If families would like to sponsor a $10 gift card to be raffled at halftime and between games, please Venmo @leslieanndrake (last four of phone number = 8894), or Zelle to 512-964-8894.
We have a goal of 15 x $10 gift cards, and plan to raffle 5 cards each at both halftimes and between games. Any overage we get above our goal will be used towards goodie bags for all teachers and staff in attendance.
If you are able, please consider donating by Wednesday March 4, so that we can purchase items ahead of the event.
Thank you, from your Booster Club, for the support of our athletes, and for your consideration in helping us honor their hardworking teachers!
And Finally
As we enter the last two weeks and final four games of the season, the Lady Rangers are still very much in control of their destiny as there are 12 points up for grabs to make the playoffs.
Long story short, if the Lady Rangers win their last 4 games then they are in. Any dropping of points then, help will be needed and Hutto and Cedar Ridge would need to drop points somewhere along the way.
We absolutely can get on a hot streak and see the District portion of the season out.
Either way we will give it our all and fight to the end, because that is who we are.
We Got this Lady Rangers!
Let's Go!
