The Week in Review
This past week saw the Lady Rangers Take on Stony Point on Tuesday, and host Vandegrift on Friday. The JV Lady Rangers took a 5-0 Victory over Stony Point on Tuesday and then dropped a tightly contested match 0-2 to Vandegrift on Friday. In both games the Lady Rangers showed great discipline, grit, and determination. So many great moments in both games and these Lady Rangers continue to show enthusiasm and team unity. An exciting future for Lady Ranger soccer as they continue to grow and excel on their soccer journey.
The Varsity Lady Rangers tied Stony Point 1-1 on Tuesday with a spectacular goal by Liza Fletcher. The point on the road helped keep the Lady Rangers in 4th place and in good position to mae the playoffs.
On Friday the Lady Rangers hosted the #1 Team in the Region in the Vandegrift Lady Vipers and the game started off well with a goal from Sophomore London Whitney as the Lady Rangers took the lead early. Although the final score was not the result we were hoping for we ended the evening in the same place we started in still tied for fourth and in control of our own destiny in making the playoffs.
The Class of 2026
After the game we had the opportunity to honor our Seniors with our Senior Reception. What amazing Senior Tables, and the speeches from the underclassmen were heartfelt and moving.

Reminder from LISD
I just want to start by saying Thank you for all of the support our parents and fans have shown the Lady Rangers this season. In Friday Night's hotly contested game there was some fan interaction with the players and officiating that did not meet the expectation of LISD.
LISD would like to remind all spectators of the expectation and roles of supporters during UIL activities. Thank you for your continued support of the UIL Initiative to create a fan friendly game Day Experience.
And Finally-
With 5 games remaining in the Regular Season, our Bye Date comes at a perfect time. A time for us to catch our breaths. Heal some injuries. And refocus on the sprint to the finish. Being in the toughest 6A District in the State is no easy task, but like I mentioned at the Senior Reception, Everything is cyclical. Just look at the recent success of the USA Hockey teams in the Olympics as proof.

In 2016 The Vista Ridge Lady Rangers lost to the Vandegrift Vipers twice during District Play. Only to meet them in the Regional Finals and in dramatic fashion win and move on to STATE.
It's been 10 years so I think this year is the perfect year for the cycle to repeat itself.
We have a lot of work to do, but I believe in this team and I know what we are capable of.
It's time! And it starts with McNeil on Friday. Let's Do this Lady Rangers!
Let's Go!
