Lady Ranger Round Up Week of March 9-10

Week in Review

This past week saw the JV Lady Rangers go 2-0 with wins overs Cedar Ridge and Manor. It was a good week for the JV Lady Rangers as some really pretty soccer was played and the results showed for all the hard work they have been putting in.

The Varsity Lady Rangers split the week with a loss on Tuesday to a pesky Cedar Ridge Team, and a win on Friday against a vastly improved Manor team. The Lady Rangers showed great effort in both games and will learn from these games as we continue to grow in this soccer life.

Teacher Appreciation

This Tradition for Lady Ranger Soccer has become one of the most beloved by the teachers at Vista Ridge. Every Year Our Teachers look forward to our Teacher Appreciation Night more so than any other group on Campus. We have Amazing Lady Rangers and we have Amazing Teachers at Vista. Thank you to the Booster Club and all the parents who donated Gift Cards. This is the little added bonuses that make being a part of this program so special. Hopefully the rain will hold off and we will have a full house on Tuesday Night.

We will collect these at the beginning of the Soccer Class.

And Finally

As we head into the last week of District Play we approach each day with a focus and plan. We can build towards the future but we focus on the here and now. We control the controllable. What are those? Our Focus. Our Preparation. Our Intensity. Our Attitudes. Our Effort. We keep the Standard High because that is who we are and we know that is what it takes for us both as a team and individually to be successful. Soccer teaches us many lessons. And this week we focus on control and preparation. Our Season is not over until it's over, so until that time comes, we will focus and prepare at a high Standard because to give any less is cheating ourselves and disrespecting the game.
