'Twas the Night before High School Soccer Season
Can you Believe it?
It feels just like yesterday that school started and here we are at the start of the high school season.
Here is hoping that Everyone had a restful week filled with gratitude as we prepare for the upcoming season.
Let's Get it Started!
The Pre-season rankings are out and the Lady Rangers are receiving some recognition, but then again so are the rest of teams on our schedule.
UIL allows 1 tournament and 19 games (which includes our District Games) each year. This year's schedule features 15 games against teams who are in the pre-season polls.
Looking forward to what this year has to offer. I 'm quietly confident and extremely optimistic for what this team can accomplish this season.
The Week Ahead 2:30 - 5 pm
Monday - A Day Red
Tuesday - B Day Black
Wednesday - A Day Grey
Thursday - B Day Black
Friday - A Day Red
We will either be on Ranger or Baseball OF this week.
Practice will go to 5 PM for the next 9 practices.
Proper Practice Attire will be worn each Day. (Shin Guards)
Additionally, Lady Rangers will need soccer shoes, indoor shoes (Flat soles), and running shoes daily. We will be on the turf (Soccer Shoes), on the track (Running Shoes), and in the weight room or gym (Flat Soles) Everyday this week.

We are still looking for 4 of the grey jerseys that were handed out for Rally at the Ridge, that have not been returned yet. Please get those returned tomorrow so we can re-issue for the season and everyone has the correct number.
Upcoming this WEEK!
Please Join us this Wednesday Morning at 7:30 am in the Big Study Hall as we celebrate Arden and her commitment to play Soccer at Smith College. This is an Amazing opportunity for Arden and we would love for all her teammates to be there to support and celebrate her.
Mandatory Beginning of Season Parent Meeting-
Our Beginning of year Parent Meeting will be held on Wednesday at 5:30 pm in the BSH.

The Texas Way
Booster Club - Information
Nominations/Voting for Open Board Positions
President - Open
Vice President - Pedro Martinez

The only disqualifier for a board position is employment by LISD in a position that handles money. The majority of this season is already complete in terms of time requirements. All that's left to do is to plan Senior Night (A little earlier this year) and our banquet.
The Plan is to start the meeting promptly at 5:30 and be done by 6-6:15 at the latest.

Media Day
Our Lady Rangers had a lot of fun at Media Day and there were some great pics of all the girls.
Still need to hear from a few of the Lady Rangers on which Banner Pose they want.
Must hear from you by end of Ranger Time on Monday or I will have to choose for you. Running into some deadline issues to get the banners here before our first home game with Rouse.
Parents if you would like to pre-register for access to the Media Day Pictures for packages please follow the this Link or use the QR Code below. A message will be sent to you when the site goes Live for purchase orders.

Couple of Items of note-
We had a tremendous fundraiser and just barely missed our goal for this year. It is because of this support that we are able to provide both our teams with about 95% of their needs.
Because of the support of our Booster Club both teams have-
Parkas
Fall Jackets
Rain Jackets
Training Attire
Sweat Shirts
Backpacks
3 Game Day Uniforms
(And So much more)
Parents please check with your Lady Rangers and see if they need any of the following for the season as these items are not provided for by the Program:
Black Sports Bra & Spandex
White Sports Bra & Spandex
Field Player Gloves (Recommended but not Required)
Cold Weather headband (Recommended but not Required)
Or check this Link out if you're not sure what to get them for Christmas.
And Finally-
Please please please prepare accordingly.
Check your Weather App Daily. Unless there is lightning or we are outside of the LISD Temperature Guidelines we will be practicing outside.
Better to have it and not need it than to Need it and not have it.
I am so excited for the season to start and see what this group of Lady Rangers can accomplish.
Tomorrow is Day 1.
Then 9 practices Later we take on the Defending State Champion Cedar Park Lady Wolves.
It's Going to be a great year.
Let's Go Lady Rangers!
