The Week in Review-
This past week saw the Lady Rangers continue in their preparation for the upcoming regular season. We had four days of training and then visited the 5A Defending State Champions for our first Friday Night Lights Game of the Season.
Without going into too much detail or giving too much away, both the Lady Ranger JV & Varsity performed exceptionally well. The girls looked organized and decisive. They were competitive, and overall it was an excellent scrimmage and fantastic way to kick off our Pre-Season.
Saturday was a day of Service for our Lady Rangers as we participated in the Blue Santa Kick Off Classic and were a part of collecting and donating 1,003 toys for families in our community.
It was absolutely amazing and there will be information to come regarding how significant this event was for our community.
Also there was a little soccer played (50 minute game) and both the Varsity and JV played well.
Check out this gallery of pictures from Saturday and cool little highlight from Friday Night.

Booster Club-
We are still in need of someone to volunteer to hold the position of President and someone to hold the position of Webmaster/ Photography.
Please consider holding these important positions within our organization. I promise it does not take up a lot of time and makes a huge impact on our program.
Sponsor Spotlight-

If you are looking to improve your soccer touch or just need a couple of training sessions during the break to stay sharp, check out one of our sponsors, Fletcha Soccer by clicking on the logo to link to his website.
And Finally
This past weekend was amazing. It's hard not to get overly excited for the season with the way the girls performed. But there is still a lot of work left to do. Changes are coming. Starters will be reserves and reserves will be starters. We are looking for those formations and combinations that allow us to perform at our best while giving us an opportunity win and be successful.
Roles are being established, Bonds are being made, and preparations continue to progress.
If I can share a little insight into my Coaching philosophy it is this;
The first 10 minutes are not nearly as important as the last 10.
It's in the last 10 minutes where games are won or lost. Do you have the mental toughness to get a goal and win the game? Do you have the fitness to preserve the victory? Do you have that little extra push to do what it takes to help us win? Are you going to be a clutch player when the game is on the line?
As you train and grow in your soccer journey, I want to encourage you to focus on being one of the players who is on the field at the end of the game.
As we talked about it this past weekend. Good performances are what we strive for each and every day. Great Effort will lead to Great Results.
Rest. Stay warm. Check the forecast and prepare accordingly and let's have another Great Week of Soccer. Here we Go!
Let's Go Lady Rangers!
(Oh and BTW- the missing ball was found. Somehow a group of boys were playing Keepy Uppu with it in the hall before the game on Friday. Saved from a little running on Monday)
